Remote Fractional CTO for startups and scale-ups in the US & EU, working across engineering leadership, AI adoption, and architecture.
Odds are my work has already reached you. If you've watched a major news channel, streamed a live match, browsed a website, or used something that crossed an ocean to reach you, you've probably touched a system I helped build.
What I do
Fractional CTO
Technical leadership without the full-time hire. Roadmap, hiring, standards, and the calls that are expensive to get wrong.
AI orchestration & adoption
Help teams onboard AI into how they actually build and operate. Not a demo, a working practice.
Architecture design & review
Design systems that are dumb, easy to reason about, and decoupled enough to survive change. Or come in cold and tell you what's wrong with the one you have.
About
I'm Hasib. I care about quality, innovation and leadership. I solve the problems that are actually at hand, and I design solutions to be dumb, easy to reason about, within reach, and decoupled enough to survive change.
Eleven years across product engineering, architecture, and company building. I co-founded Craftsmen and grew it from zero to over $1M ARR and 80 people in under four years, serving broadcast and media-technology clients across Europe. I later founded Cogitous Technology on my own; it didn't make it, and I learned more from that than from most things that worked. Now I'm building something new.
Along the way, I've built for others too: broadcast software at Vizrt, behind the world's major news channels; the marketplace at Freightos, the largest online freight platform; and WordPress and WooCommerce at Automattic, which power over 40% of the internet.
